SERVICE DESCRIPTION:
CUSTOMIZED HIGH PERFORMANCE CLEANING SYSTEM
- Our system is developed by incorporating the good methods that already exist within your organization coupled with ProTeam’s proven techniques. The cleaning system nicknamed "Team Cleaning" has evolved over the years into a true High Performance Cleaning System.
IMPROVED CLEANING TECHNIQUES
and METHODS
- Our system takes the mystery out of how to properly use the ProTeam backpack vacuums. We show how dust is removed from the facility’s floor surfaces and above-floor surfaces in an accelerated method. The result is to not only reduce labor dollars but to also improve overall health and cleaning quality of a facility.
REDUCED OVERALL COSTS
(Example)
- 1 hour per day @ $8.00 per hour including labor burden equals about $11.00. An $11.00 per day labor reduction x 5 days a week equals $55.00. A labor reduction of $55.00 x 52 weeks in a year equals $2,860.00 of direct bottom-line cost reduction. This is a small example of potential cost savings; it’s not uncommon to see a 10%-20% or better reduction in labor costs dependent on current cleaning methods.
- In most cases the cost of task work-loading, employee training and equipment purchases can be absorbed by reduced labor expense.
- It’s impossible to put a value on a cleaning system that actually produces a healthy environment opposed to one that just delivers a clean appearance.
PERFORMANCE METRICS
ONE OF FOUR - QUAD FLOW
- The training of service workers on the proper use of equipment and how to improve cleaning techniques provides only half of the solution to a complete cleaning system.
- The second part of the equation is to provide an easy-to-follow road map which guides the service worker throughout their area of responsibility.
- Correct work-loading and color-coded floor plans describe who, what, where, when and how the cleaning tasks are to be performed.
- A professional organization cannot rely on line workers to determine when and where service should be delivered.
- This should be a top-loaded management decision process.
Based on the frequency of service, a dedicated
schedule is developed for all cleaning tasks.
This is a Monday Sample Schedule for the
General Cleaning Tasks.

HELP OVERCOME WORKFORCE OPPOSITION
USING OUR "TRAIN the TRAINER PROGRAM"
- Our system provides top training methods, correct tools to be used, and the accurate amount of time allotted to accomplish the assigned cleaning tasks in an effort to improve quality and attain customer satisfaction.
- The “Trainer” receives complete training and can actually demonstrate to a service worker that the assigned cleaning tasks can be achieved in the allotted time.
- Having an individual within an organization that has been totally trained in the use of the equipment, cleaning techniques and with a proven plan to follow will help address employee push back and will speed up the implementation process immensely in other facilities.
PILOT/MODEL BUILDING PROGRAM
- A cleaning system that has been correctly implemented within a facility, coupled with an efficient trainer becomes the model and proving ground for other Supervisors and Project Managers so the successful process can be effectively duplicated and efficiently repeated.
IN-HOUSE OPERATIONS
- Pride of ownership is very important. If the decision is made not to out-source the custodial operations, it’s necessary for the in-house custodians to perform and think like an out-sourced contractor. Coupled with Pro Team’s improved techniques, we help to remove service disparity from the in-house operation.
CONTRACTOR CONFIDENTIALITY
IS GUARANTEED
- We provide a confidentiality agreement and non-disclosure statement to all organizations that engage Pro-C Systems, Inc. Any and all information provided during the implementation and work-loading process will be held in strict confidence.
MARKETING
- Regardless of whether it is an in-house operation or an out-sourced provider, we will help develop a marketing plan and marketing materials that will create a portrait of the professional customized cleaning service which the organization is now capable of delivering.
"TRAIN THE TRAINER” PILOT/MODEL BUILDING PROGRAM
Typically a week on-site is enough time to accomplish the process if the “Trainer” candidate is savvy and committed. Once we have a chance to spend time and explain what we will be trying to achieve, the “light will come on” and the concept is picked-up quickly. It’s a common-sense approach to cleaning that falls into place after it’s properly explained and demonstrated. We teach the cleaning techniques and methods and explain why tasks are performed a definite way. With our guidance the “Trainer” is capable of instructing other supervisors, head custodians, and service workers in other facilities.
The “Trainer” candidate is the key component in making the program work and keeping it on-line. It can never be put on auto- pilot because that is a blueprint for failure. A “Trainer” candidate might be a current supervisor with good leadership skills who has the respect of his or her staff and supervisory peers.
NOTE: The actual work-loading and scheduling service which is included in the Pilot/Model Building Program may require further help from us in future buildings. The process moves along quickly with our help and input from the “Trainer”, who is now experienced and knowledgeable with the implementation course.
This initial service covers only the Pilot/Model Building. Additional work loading and training service is available in 40 hour increments. The work-loading computer software application that we have developed is not included as part of the Pilot/Model Building Program fee and is not available for purchase at this time.
